How much would they pay?

Probably mid six figures, plus a Virgin Racing sticker

I hope so; that’s a pricey neighborhood to live in. They’re looking for a needle in a haystack imho; somebody with all those quals should command low to mid 6 figures methinks. I’d accept less money but would want access to Necker Island two weeks a year.

Long Beach isn’t too terrible. Here’s a house with a pool, garage, and short commute for $565,000

That would redefine what a "super commuter" is...

Does the job include a Vette, or do I have to bring my own?
![]() 02/26/2020 at 13:29 |

Well, I’m only a couple thousand hours short. I do have multi engined.....helicopter? That counts, right? Blackhawks count as large transport, right? Right?

I’m sorry to inform you that due to a recent update to the terms and conditions , that feature is no longer available free of charge.

A 65 year old 1300sq ft house for $565k? California is even crazier than Connecticut.
![]() 02/26/2020 at 13:33 |

It gets cold in Connecticut
![]() 02/26/2020 at 13:34 |

Excellent. Well, I’m going to buy an R8 since I’ve got this job on lock, now.

All the cool jobs always require all of the specialized experience. My job title is actually flight test engineer and I have the engineering background. But none of the flying stuff. Sounds like a sweet gig though!

If I found that in my neighborhood (suburban Seattle) at that price, I’d fall over myself in haste to buy it, as I could triple my money in a one day quick flip .
![]() 02/26/2020 at 13:38 |
|
Relatively speaking , yes. I haven’t had to bust out my winter jacket yet, though . I zoomed out on the satellite photo of the house; man, that area is so densely populated it’s like a beehive.

I like the “you’d better” line - I think I should put in an application just for the lulz. I’ve flown on several planes, so I think I can handle it.

Have they already tried stealing a Space X pilot?

Seattle is even crazier than California, which is crazier than Connecticut.

I’d definitely choke on m y own vomit before crashing into a school bus full of children and their puppies on the way to visit a nursing home. Or something.

I am severely underqualified :P
![]() 02/26/2020 at 14:17 |

Yeah, because no one wants to live in Connecticut.
![]() 02/26/2020 at 14:22 |

Too bad I’m overqualified.
![]() 02/26/2020 at 15:21 |

I played a lot of hours of this growing up. That’s pretty much qualified right?
![]() 02/26/2020 at 15:24 |

$1M to become a test pilot. Yikes.

Curious to know who’s on Branson’s asshole list.
